Crankshaft Journals bigger than they're supposed to be?

So I need some help. I just recently bought a 1997 Saturn SL2 with a 1.9L 4-cylinder DOHC engine. The engine was knocking when we bought it, which is why we got it so cheap. (we figured it was a connecting rod bearing, which it was)

So we pulled the engine, and I took off the oilpan, oil baffle, and then the connecting rod caps. Sure enough, bearing 1 (closest to the timing chain) was spun like a monkey. So my dad and I decided to just replace all 4, since the other 3 were slightly worn and it's obviously a good idea while you have the engine apart.

TO THE POINT: we thought it would be relatively easy to replace the bearings right? NOPE. when measuring the journals of the crankshaft with a calipers, they measured from 1.845 inches (that was the spun one) to 1.862. That's a good tenth of an inch BIGGER around than my Haynes Repair Manual says they should be! So, is it a modified crankshaft? and what kind of bearings do I get?
