steering wheel noise

When i turn my steering wheel in my 07 grand prix (40,500 miles) i hear that squeak as if your cleaning a glass surface. Anyone know a fix for this?

Noises are difficult online, if it's the noise I'm thinking of,it's the nylon bearing for the stub shaft in the steering gear. The only fix is to replace the gear.

Yeah, I tell them to crank up the radio.....
