1994 jimmy won't idle
If the car is in drive and i take my foot off the gas the car shuts off. If im on the gas and driving its just fine. so when i have to brake i can throw it in neutral and it barely ideals but it does't shut off. Very dangerous to drive any suggestions..?? Its a 1994 4.3 vortec 4wd

Sounds like a piece of carbon may be stuck under the EGR pintle holding it open a bit. May or may not set a DTC. Remove valve and see if pintle is closed (normal) or stuck open (problem), remove carbon if necessary. Check for vacuum leaks and fuel pressure leakdown also.

The fuel pressure regulator on the injector assembly or the plastic lines leading to the injector may be leaking under the upper intake intake. This would also cause an extended crank/hard start along with the rough idle especially when the truck is restarted after a hot soak. Fuel pressure should hold 55-61 psi.
