message center dead?
Hi I have a 2003 Windstar SEL with the 3.8 V6. Yesterday I unhooked the battery positive and negetive cables and replaced the Cam Synchronizer. When all was done I hooked the battery back up and everything worked good but the message center did not come back on. But worked fine before I replaced the Cam Syncronizer. Could I have blown a fuse when I hooked the battery back up? Just at a loss as to why this happened. Any help would be greatly appreicated.
Thanks, hommerstang Last edited by hommerstang; 11-26-2011 at 09:25 AM. |

Re: message center dead?
Maybe there is some need for it to initialize when you have removed power?
I did not have a message center in my '96, so I'm just guessing.
