Any Street Racing in your area

How is the street racing going in your area? none? light? mediocore? heavy???

I know New York, LA, Philly, Chicago, Detroit, etc and a few other large cities have it go on every night by the 100's

What about mid sized towns, from 80,000 pop to 1,00,000 popualtion.

Say midwest towns, like St. Lous Mos, Cincinatti, Colubis, Cleavlenad OH., Lansing, Grand Rapids Mi, Grannbay, Milwalkee, WI.
Indianapolis IN. Mid Illlionois towns,

What about smaller towns with 40,000 to 60,000 people, any action?

I live in a town with 60,000 poeple (Terre Haute IN.) (100,00 county) just 71 miles west of Indy,
back in the mid 1980's it was easy to find a run.. but now a days I have to drive around an hour sometimes just to find someone to run..
doesn't matter if the car is from USA, Japan, Gemany, or even the freaken planet Mars.

have to go to Indy to see (more) mediocore action, but it's been 3 yrs since my land cruse night there.

What is it like in your area,?

Not really much here. Most of the cars around here are slow. I have never lost a race since moving here.

I have heard that here in Chicago we have lots of races, but I can hardly ever find anyone to race me. I think a lot of people must think I'm jokin' when my "grocery getter" revs... Don't know how to hook up with people who organize the shit, either. They don't exactly advertise.

There is more show off than races were i live. I have never seen a race before or have ever heard were they are held. People think they got something when all they have is a cold air intake, decals and muffler.

I live in a town of about 100,000 people in East Texas. Its real easy to find a race, specially on the main street, Broadway. And there are fast cars here, more then just a few that are 11/12 secs or better.

i live in Grass Valley, CA (small town.. 11,800 population) and theres only redlight racing, town is too small for any organized racing... but if you go about 55 minutes west to Sacramento, CA there is tons of racing. a lot of my friends go every weekend friday and saturday night and they say it goes from about 10pm-2am.

if you are in the sacramento area go to Krispy Kreme donuts at about 10pm-2am on Sunrise and Greenback and theres tons of racing

hrmm...most of the cars aren't anything THAT Impressive, but for the most part, they are low 14's-mid 15's. go down to auburn (bout an hour drive) an u'll see bout 250-300 cars, w/ some quicker. for the most part, there aren't any FAST cars, jus quick ones.

friend of mine has a 86 mustang 5.0 that he has run 10.12 with and his girlfriend ran, get this, 9.6. he said hes gotten it to do a wheelie for 60 ft. its such a sleeper... besides the RUMBLING flowmasters and the cowl hood it looks totally stock (grandma rims :P and bad looking paint job)

I actually live in London, near a motorway, and every night I heard cars going fast and shifting (and all the other sounds, such as BOVs, turbos etc ), and the fact that there are loadsa fast cars near my house that aren't riced out (Skylines, Supras, Evos, STis) makes for some awesome racing going on Man I love living here
