Fix steering wheel locked problem

Lost my keys and need to get my 96 DLX moved driven about 5 miles down the road to get crushed because the reverse gears are gone one the auto trans. I can start it but don't know how to get around the steering locked issue. There is one wire going into the keyswitch that I can ground and another that I can put 12 v on and I can get a clicking sound like a solenoid or relay but the steering does not unlock.
