I love my 180sx cadet, its low end torque and great for drifting. the only problem i've had so far is blown turbine, but thats because i run it hard. so yeah i love my ca, but wouldnt mind swapping it for a sr20.

plus u have the 89-90 240sx where the CA18DET would be a DIRECT fit..... if you put in the SR20 in those years you have to get the newet power steering lines.

is it just me

or does anyone notice that a CA from the outside looks a hell of a lot like a 4 banger RB.

yeah if you had your RPS13 in america.......which I doubt you do........

why would you want to put a CA18 in it?

LOL

some people just don'tknow what RPS13 means. Just call your car a S13 hatch or S13.....Im assuming you have an American Nissan 240sx.....

or them folks who get 180sx tail light conversion from the 96 ones and get the RPS13 on the middle backup light section hehe..... man if you had that on a 240sx get it changed or buy another one with nismo on it or a blank one lol....

if someone actually swapped a Sr20det, did tail light conversions, and converted it to RHD I think i would let em slide with using that comment just cause of all their hard work

180driftking, have you had problems finding aftermarket parts support for your ca18det? if not, where do you purchase parts from. i asked a similar question about putting a ca18det in my car about a month ago, but no one knew about aftermarket support.

Hahahahah... Funny.

I actually got someone their center panel.

From seeing her name mentioned on here a few times, I guess she's pretty popular with all you guys, her man too. HAHAHAHA.

Scary. Does she even post on here? Mike knows who I am talking about.

haha.

i know someone else who has one...doesn't even have an SR...but his Sil80 is still awesome, and i think it looks fine with the RPS panel. i dunno, i guess i'm just not as anal as you guys, but i don't care if people put that on their NA car. if they go around claiming it's an RPS13, then there's something wrong with them. but that panel is awesome, not just because of the writing. i personally want to track down one of the SUPER-rare "Sileighty" ones for my car.

ah yes.. and the lameness continues.

I agree with Glenn, I am not too particular about badging.. it doesnt bother me that much when I see things like 180SX windows, RPS13 center panel, or Silvia badge on an S14... what bothers me are people who CALL their car Silvia. People who put GT-R badges on their car (when its OBVIOUSLY not a GT-R).

I mean, if the person put an RB in their car.. okay, I can kinda see some comedy in putting a GT-R badge on their car.. but still, its all excessive. Obviously, you should do what you WANT to do.. but calling your car something it isnt is lame.

Didnt we have this discussion months ago already?
