I just wanna know what engine got put in my car for real..heh...

I believe the d15b2 is ofF of a STD hatch.IT has 70 HP.

![]() , sorry, just wanted to do that.The D15B2 is out of the 4th gen DX. The D15B1 is out of the STD. The B2 has 92 hp, while the B1 has 70 something. incorrect. d15b2 is from an 88-91 DX. it has 90 hp. with an Si cam (d16a6) and MPFI fuel injection, you should be making around 100-105hp at the crank.
btw, doyou have any pics of your engine bay? |

the d15b2 is in 2nd gen rexs also, it made 92hp.

I will say this, there is a noticable difference with I/H/E than with a stock engine, you should always get those first, before any neons/stickers/seats/spoilers/bodykits/etc. One thing though, i wouldn't recommend getting an MSD distributor cap & external coil, it seems like it actually made the car idle worse. The same thing happened to my friend with a 91 CRX Si. His car is a bitch to get started since he put the external coil on. If you think about it, having the coil inside the distributor is about the best place for it. |
