2001 Windstar Door locks not opening

2001 windstar with electric door loocks; locks not opening on any doors with FOB EXCEPT drivers door (it works fine). Using the electronic switch inside the drivers door results in same as using FOB (drivers door only). Only way to locks other doors is manually.

I have not checked through the fuse panel yet but was planning on looking shortly because it seems like a fuse thing. I searched around forumn but found nothing on this. Any one seen this before?

If checking the fuses shows no results, the next thing would be to check the connections at the REM (Rear Electronics Module). This device handles the rear A/C controls, rear lights and power door locks. It is located at the rear passenger side quarter panel, by the jack and the Inertia Switch. I know some users didn't remove the quarter panel and instead only removed the covering material.

The drivers door lock is controlled by the FEM (front EM) and that's why it's still working.

In case you end up having to replace it make sure you get one from a windstar with the same trim level as yours, if you don't you'll need to have it reprogrammed at the dealer in order to make it work in your minivan.

Do you hear any noise coming from the non-functioning locks. Ford is notorious for the construction of P.O.S. window motors and door lock actuators. I realize that it would be a stretch to think that all your lock actuators stopped functioning at once, but if you hear a noise (typically a rattling or buzzing noise), it would indicate that the circuitry is functioning.
