Question Doing washes?

Just wondering how washes is applied in large areas like the engine or the bottom side of the car??
i know hwo to do washes on panel line but do i jsut use a large brush and brush the whole area of the bottom??
or are you suppose to do it some other ways?
also what other parts should washes be done??

Can anyone show some pics of big area washed?? cause never really seen much.....

For sure use a large, soft brush for washing large areas. You'll want to dilute the wash a lot more and apply more coats. You'll prevent paint from pooling in the middle of nowhere and spotting, and it'll appear a lot more realistic with the lighter shadows and outlines.
