Oil Light / Electrical Gremlins
Hey all,
For a few months now, my "dummy" oil light on my digital dashboard would come on under electrical load. At night it is especially noticeable as the lights and often the blower is on. The light is never fully bright and on. It dims in and out and flickers a bit, but is never completely brightly lit. Since the oil pressure switch is either ON or OFF, it is not an oil pressure issue. I already replaced the oil pressure switch with an auto parts store replacement and it did not fix anything. I also replaced the ground strap that is between the top of the firewall and the passenger side cylinder head as the original was rusted and barely hanging on. Are there any other ground straps I should replace to try to fix this issue?
