Fujimi Ferrari 550 Maranello
My first finished model since I completed my two Ferrari 612's in late '06/early '07! This is my first time using Zero Paints Ferrari TDF blue and 2K clear. I used resin seats and door panels from Hiro (username Hirofkd), and Acu-Stion detail set. I piped the seats in blue MFH wire. Sorry for the iPhone pics!

You know what? I just checked the WIP of this one few days ago while thinking when would this dude finish this... I believe this is a true brilliant work Bernard, and it does deserve some better pics. Come on!

The outdoor pics show a lot more detail and really show how nice the paint job is. I really like that blue.

The first Maranello I ever saw on the road was exactly the same color. I fell in love with that car then. Great job on the model.

Thanks guys for your comments! Resale red is the most popular Ferrari color, but Ferrari also does some great blues. My inspiration for the color combo was a 550 featured in a Michael Sheehan article about how various owners spent ~ $65,000 in service costs and cosmetics! The car was TDF with tan and yellow calibers.
