2002 Ford Focus Clutch or Electrical ?
Hi,
I own a 2002 ford focus DOHC SE base for a while now, the engine has kind of shuddered once in a while around 60k. and the other day it started to lose its power.. like i would be hitting 3000RPM in first gear (manual) and it would barely move. it continues like this in every gear. So i decided at the end of the week il take it in and get it checked out. but TODAY on the way to work i found myself pushing it to 4000RPM in 5th gear just to hit like 80K. And then it broke. the engine shut off, and wont start again. WTF? its sitting at the mechanics, but i dont understand if its just a clutch problem, and if so why wont the engine turn back on?

The engine didnt shutter and slowly fade, i just lost ALL RPMs and got my CHECK ENGINE
