Completed - 1/12 Tamiya NS500

Recently finished this one up. It's a pretty basic out of the box build. I chose to paint all the red/white/blue instead of using the kit's stripe decals.

Thanks for looking.

Wise decision to paint all the colours, really looks excellent. Was it a tricky masking job..?

Is this a Freddie Spencer bike? Looks cool! Nice painting example (for me)!

Seems like it from the "Freddie" on the front fairing...

Thanks guys.

Steve, it wasn't too bad. Painted all white first, then made templated masks for the number plates and applied those masks. Masked off everything else then painted the blue. After the blue dried I masked everything and painted the red. This left white areas for the yellow number plate decals to be applied.

Very nicely executed and nicely done paint and decal application. I know from painful experience that the yellow numbers are translucent.... :-(

Your work looks exellent!
