Question Considering a 2008 Colorado...

Hello Colorado Forum guys and gals...

After 140k miles, I'm finally ready to retire my trusty 2001 S10. [make an offer if you want ] I'm going to cut her loose and pick up a 2008 Colorado with the 2.9L 4-cyl and a 5 speed... it's also 4WD.

Is there anything I should be made aware of? What are the service intervals for regular tune-up maintenance? What is a particular pain to service in the driveway? I like to do most of my own work... is there anything that's dealer-only serviceable?

The deal I would be getting is incredible. It's got 16k miles and the dealership only wants $13900 for it. It's fairly well equipped as well.

Comes with a full set of ladder racks and diamond plate sidemounted toolboxes.

I've read some TSB's and I don't see anything that really stands out and scares the bejesus out of me. It's looking like this might just be the deal of the decade. Haha.

Anyway, relay any anecdotal nonsense you have for me regarding the 2008 Colorado, and of its accessories or any horror stories related to this particular drivetrain combination. As usual, thanks friends.
