Road and track 1994 question

I friends, i have one question for you, i buy a road and track magazine "exotic cars 94".
In this magazine are a exelent article about mclaren f1, in the pictures listed two mclarens one of this is the xp3 it have a plate, but the other one is a mistery for my.
Do you know what car is this.

Ahh - that's an easy one. That's the Clinic Model. The only other silver F1 that had the foglights in the nose at any point was XP3 but it did not have the 'eyelids' over the headlamps and it would have had front turn signals below most of the time.

Not exactly sure what the timeline was for converting the Clinic Model to low mirrors, but I believe the change was made at some point when the car was burgundy, and then later it was resprayed back to silver like you see here. Then it may have been painted blue, but no photographic evidence of that exists in the public domain. It seems to have ended it's life painted yellow.
