High RPM
recently my 02 trailblazer ext has been giving me high rpm's ...ranging from 2500 to 4000...i just recently did a transmission flush and filter kit change...it didnt solve the problem...any help would be appriciated ..

Sorry am very new at this...its fine when its idling....high rpm's start at speeds of 40 onwards and thats when it goes from 2500 at 40 to almost 4000 rpms at 60 onwards...i hope i answered it right.....

Sounds like the trans does not shift into the next gear, can't tell from here if you are unsure have someone knowledgable drive the car for a more definitive analysis and post back, also any check engine lite on?
