On the engine!
It would help knowing what engine you have because they are all in different areas. Most Cavs have an oil filter mounted on the backside of the block above the right axle. The other place for the filter if it is an Ecotech engine they have a filter cart top of the engine near the intake manifold.

Well if you know all cavs come with the 2.2L Ecotrash engine why didn't you know where the oil filter is?
You are probably one of those owners that come to a dealer and when you are asked what model car you have you say Chevy!!!
