1997 gp transmission hesitation reverse

yes, my 97 gp hesitates when i put in reverse? what could be the problem and any quick fixes like additives for transmission?

if fluid level is correct,,,the hesitation only occurs in reverse,,,,theres an internal mechanical problem,,,,,,,,,tranny-in-a-can,,,,may limp it along,,,,try changing the air in the tires ,,,lol......reverse in most trans ,,including what you are driving ,,,requires no solenoid position to be on,,,in limp-in-mode you still will have reverse,,,,,if it is not there,,,more than likely going to be changing it out !!!! don't waste your money on quick fixes or flushes,,,save the cash for the repair.......just my rants !!!!!
