I'll bow out on this offer from Panoz, call me old school but the Abruzzi just hasn't grown on me enough to want to convert!!

Re: Holy Cow BATMAN!!!!!

Just having something with that tuning in a wind tunnel and the testing they are doing now I cant resist. It has to be slippery and it has windows and headlights etc. I think for a race car its sick! Whats a guess on the kit costs? I bet more than I can sell me current GTS for?

I know what you are saying Brian. The Abruzzi is kinda cool but I like the mod/retro styling of the GTS body better at this stage. Sounds as though there is some interesting engineering in the Abruzzi. What is the power plant? Turbo/supercharged or non? Torque figure of 600ftlbs and low rpm for this suggest turbo/supercharger?

Next year is "aero" year for me I think. Time for a better front end (decent splitter, undertray etc), flat bottom and diffuser. But first we have 3 x 3 hour NZ Endurance Championship races............. We are contesting the Class 2 section of the champs on DOT tyres and have a tyre sponsor on board.

Hard to say who the competition will be but I am guessing some GT3's, Mitsi Evo's and a number of kiwi hybrids. A recent one to appear is a Ford Focus with a Ford 347 fitted!!
