Cf Hood....finally! (pics)

My carbon fiber hood is finally here! ViS OEM Design. i still have to file the washer holes to fit the nozzles in there (they are a little too small). i guess this finally answers everyone's age-old question about what a carbon fiber hood looks like on a black car... enjoy

my total was $415. that's for ViS though, which is very good quality. I could've gotten a crappy one for around 300$. if you want a good hood, you need to at least spend around 400$...(thats my opinion anyways)

theres a local automotive store called 'CRD'. it stands for compact racing designs. they did my drop, camber kit, wheels, and now my hood. im also planning to get my exhaust from them. they are really cool guys and help me out with everything. i actually had trouble with the hood. the first one ordered was defected so they re-ordered a ViS. and when that one came in, it was vented and i wanted an oem design. then they had to reorder and ship which took 2 weeks. so i ended up waitin four weeks for my hood. but thats the ONLY problem ive ever had with them (and technically its not really their fault since the company shipped the wrong one).

looks good.

i paid 300 cash for my cf hood and thats only because a local import store had trouble selling it and they wanted to get rid of it so i got it. it had a price tag of 700 i do believe. mine is reverse vented. but i have a red car and u have black. looks good though nice choice. ok i will stop rambling on now
