stupid brake question

I wanted to know after applying the anti squeal solution(red stuff) to back of pads whats the longest i can wait before installing pads.

Yep. At my shop I have let them sit longer while I did other jobs and they have been ok. Putting the pads on when still wet is where the stop squeak can become less effective.
