Source for Tamiya screws
Hi Guys,
Does anyone know somewhere online where I can buy some of the screws that come with the Tamiya 1/12th motorcycle kits..?? I bought an old kit on e-Bay and it's missing a few. I need some 1.6mm X 20, any ideas..??

Re: Source for Tamiya screws
steve i have ordered screws from tamiya importers at the hobby company before now. tel no 01908 605686.
I seem to remember it was sue who you need to speak to. They are not cheap but found them very helpful whenever needed any replacement parts. |

Re: Source for Tamiya screws
Thanks for the replies, most appreciated. Bigger problem now. I just stripped all the parts this morning and checked them against the instructions. A few are missing and I can make these with no problem (foot peg, couple of fairing brackets) biggest problem is the clear screen is missing for the fairing. Anyone ever made their own..?? The kit is the Tamiya Kawasaki KR 500 GP Racer. I'm open to ideas if anyone has any suggestions...

Re: Source for Tamiya screws
Contact Rainbow Ten in Japan. They have a Tamiya spare parts service. You have to order entire sprues, but their service is second to none. Use the id numbers on the spare parts list on the instruction sheet to order from them.
