Bad Skyline

I stated to built this model a long time ago, but i never get much done because I couldn´t deside what kind of a model this should be. Then one day I made my mind and deside to try some techniques to this. Model is Aoshima 1973 GT-R with battery box, so not the greatest model, but good for testing. I painted that one piece shasse black and interior is mostly black too. I had a week extra time to built this "experiment", so some shortcuts had to made. For exterior painting I Tried some colour modulation, first time for me. And mirror finnish to windows was made by Kosutte Gin San. Scull on the hood is painted. Wheel bases were so large, so I had to put a really big wheels to fill them.







Skirts are painted flat black and roof is 4 shades lighter.

This is decidedly different! I like the window treatment and the paintjob. I'm still pondering the wheels but that's not a bad thing; just something to make me look at the build a bit longer. You've done a great job on this Skyline.
