Greetings,
I have a 2001 Grand Cherokee Laredo with power brakes. Quite often when I am stopped at a light I find that the brake pedal slowly goes down towards the floor. Since the lights are short it neve makes it to the floor. I have checked each wheel and found no fluid leaks. Is this a problem with the master cylinder or the power brake assist? Or, could it be something else like needing the brakes bled. ![]() Thanks in advance for your help!

Re: Brake Issue
Sounds to me like your master cylinder is dying....if there are no leaks and the fluid level stays where it's supposed to be that would be my call. If the fluid level goes down over time then there's a leak.
I don't think it's a "need to bleed" issue, since you didn't say that your braking performance has been reduced. Air in the system will make your brakes much less effective.
