How to fix fuel gauge and temp gauge '91 regal 3.8L

How do I check the sending units of both the fuel gauge and the temperature gauge of the above Regal? The temp gauge sometimes moves a little but not nearly like it should for normal operating temp, The fuel gauge does not work at all. Part solutions to either problem would be greatly appreciated! I want to check at the gauges or where u check to see if they are getting the electrical signal to make the gauges work.
