97 lincoln continental

I have a 97 LIncoln Continental. I am having issues with it not wanting to start. What happens is when its hot outside (like today) I will use my AC. I will get to where i need to be and turn the car off. Went out to eat tonight. So i was in the resturant for maybe an 1hr. Come back out to my car. Turn the key, car starts for a second or two. Just enough time for me to start to back it up, then it dies. I then put the car into park, try it again. I give the car some gas, slip it in to reverse fast and get it into drive and it runs just fine.

I have had this issue for sometime. It only seems to happen on hot days, when i use the AC. Also if i back my car into a parking spot to where i can just drive striaght out, i dont seem to have trouble getting it to start and go. I can tell the car wants to die however i think getting moving and the gas flowing helps keeping the car started. Any Ideas would be great.
