Sway Bar Replacement (
My original sway bar on 1997 Olds Silhouette broke and I ordered new one. Part number of new sway bar is 2927100. After I placed it into car as suggested on 1aauto (I did not buy it from there) it looks if car is lifted that sway bar and steering bar (tie) are hitting each other. I'm sure that this should not happen, even if a card is lifted up. Is it possible that I have placed sway bar upside down?? (there is a bump on the one side and I have moved that on the top side) Thank you for any help. Velid

Re: Sway Bar Replacement (
You have it upside down. There should be a label or stamp that indicates which side goes down. See my post with photos in this forum.
