Problems with starting up after fueling

Hey guys, I have a 1999 Audi A4 manual quattro 1.8T. I got it about over a year ago now, and have had no problems with it really other than the fact that when I go to put gas in the thing, it doesn't turn over right away when starting it up. It always eventually does, but this only happens after gas is put in. If I'm just starting it up right now for example, where it's sitting in my yard, there's no problem. I haven't done anything about it yet because no one around here knows anything/is too scared to even touch one, so I was wondering if anyone knew what the problem was so I could just do it myself. I don't know if it's the fuel pump or what, but I'd appreciate some replies!

It would certainly have been the first place because I would like to specifically mention after completing each time it is a problem and only occasionally at other times after stopping and restarting. Glad to have it repaired and hope it was easy.
