2007 Tahoe again....

The tire monitoring sytem came on again and the remote keypad doesnt work (either set of keys). Are these two tied together some how? The tire has had a slow leak in it for a while and I just add air to it when the light comes on and now this happens. Any clues as to what the problem is?

remove the tire and find the leak...add 50 psi or more to the tire and spray down with soapy water and see where the bubbles form..

tread area then rim bead, then rim for casting leaks.

key pad could be dirty/defective.

Have you brought this to the attention of your local dealer? I would recommend contacting them for more assistance. I can also look into this further for you with your VIN. Please feel free to contact me via private message. Thank you in advance.

Tricia, GM Customer Service.

I took it in and got the tire fixed and stopped by dealership and will take it back tomorrow for them to look at it.
