2001 Blazer flashing SES light
Upon moderate acceleration the SES blinks for a period of time and then stops but stays on when I resume normal driving. Any ideas why it may be blinking? I have to get the codes read and or cleared. Just thought I would post to see if anyone had any ideas or had a similar problem.

Re: 2001 Blazer flashing SES light
A blinking SES light usually indicates multiple misfires detected which would be a PO300 code. Get the computer scanned and post the codes. Have any parts of the ignition system been changed recently (cap, rotor, plugs, wires, coil)?

Re: 2001 Blazer flashing SES light
Well the darn light wont go off. The code is for cylinder 2 misfire. Changed the plug, cap, rotor, and wires with no luck. Any ideas what to look at next?
