2000 Plymouth Grand Voyager SE... dies in drive??

Hey all,

I have a 2000 Plymouth GV in the shop today, unfortunately, this is my own vehicle.

It came in non-running with the previous owner, I bought the van for scrap. This is a 3.3L Flex Fuel motor with a 604 trans.

Ended up the motor is new and it runs quite well, once the crankshaft position sensor was replaced. However, it does seem to have some issues when put into "drive". Moves fine in reverse with no issues, but when you put the van in drive and give it more than a little gas, it dies out, chugs, and bucks. You can let off the gas, and it will coast up to speed fine, and once it's moving pretty well, it drives fine, shifts, goes into passing gear, the works. When it bucks, it throws a code "cam and crank correlation incorrect". New cam sensor, does the same thing. Checked the flex plate and it doesn't seem to be cracked, torque converter is tightened to flex plate like it should be, vac lines are new, new map, tpos, cmp, ckp.... now what? Any suggestions?

From reading, the usual culprit is the flex plate. Have you looked at the cam ring gear?
