1989 front end work
I'm replacing CV joints and ball joints in a 1989 GA - factory originals are still there. Should I replace wheel bearings, even if I can't find play in them ?

No, if you aren't having any issues with the bearings or the wheel sensors use the old ones.

Re: 1989 front end work
Replacing good and parts is usually a waste of money. Cheap replacement parts don't last more than a few months.
If it do not show a sign of wear or damage, I wouln't replace. |

Re: 1989 front end work
Thanks guys.
I have noticed that most parts I buy today don't last anything like the GM originals. This 89 has been very good to me. I hope I can get someone to paint it for me after I get the front end work done. ~Mac |
