Looking for a good, sporty first car

Hey guys, I'm 16 and I'm about to get my first car. Can someone please suggest a few cars similar to the ones that are listed? I want something sporty, fast, and with decent gas mileage and room. The price range has to be under 10,000 and I want it to be fairly new and reliable. Something that will last me. Here are some cars I'm interested in - Honda Civic, Acura TL, Mazda 3, Mazda Protege, Ford Mustang, Volkswagon Jetta and Passat. Any suggestions are appreciated

If you talk about mileage and look then Honda civic is a better idea as for right sport vehicle.

Re: Looking for a good, sporty first car

My advice would be to bring you a sporty-looking 4-cylinder sedan or a wagon / hatchback, with a stick shift. That way, they have been raped in the insurance, but the shifter and the style will make you feel like you have a faster car.

I might suggest a VW golf or a 2.3 l standard ford focus. These would be my picks and both are reasonably reliable.
