Worst cars still on sale????

So what do you think are the worst cars still on sale today???? (ie can be bought from a new car dealer) also why do you think this????



Here are some of mine:

Saab 9-3 Convertible: Old Vuaxhall Cavalier chassis + no roof + Turbo equals plenty of body flex- FAR too much one might say

Ford Mustang V6: Ancient chassis, Awful engine, Shoddy quality, crap dynamics

FIAT Panda: VERY ancient, gutless wonder, very unsafe, poorly concieved, ugly.

Chrysler Neon: Awful 3 speed Auto transmission, far too snoozy and unresponsive

Honda Legend/Acura RL3.5: Too big, too boring, FWD platform waste of a great V6, ride too cushy, suspension far too soft

Chevrolet Malibu (About to be replaced though): Ancient and gutless V6, uninspired handling and dynamics, the blandest car on sale, awful ergonomics

Suzuki Swift: far too old- that is the whole cars pitfall- much better can be had for the same price

Land Rover Freelander: VERY Overpriced, horribly unreliable, awfully put together, far too greedy on fuel

Mitsubishi Lancer (Non-evo)- long in the tooth, there are cars that have been replaced twice in thier life cycle while this dinosaur lumbers on, lacking against its rivals

Rover 45- See above- add crap quality to the list as well, the EG Honda Civic chassis is good- but far too old.



I'll keep them coming as I think of more- what are your thoughts???

The Marauder had so much potential, but Ford really should've put more power into it for the price and weight it was pushing. It was sweet looking car that was doomed from the beginning...

What kind of moron decided to build it on a 25 year old ladder chassis and still think they can compete with the E500, 540i, S6 and S-Type V8?

the same moron who designed the interior... ive never sat in an American car and thought to myself, "hey, it's pretty nice in here"... and my uncle has had some supposed "luxury" american cars... i wasnt impressed... at all

VW beetle, the old one - it's a design from 1938, I mean no car from this period in time is any good today - even if it has been updated every year - it's just too old, I'd argue the same thing about the old mini if it was still being made too (even though it is a newer design)

What is wrong with the Ion. Pretty practical, kind of a chick car... I think it is better style-wise than most other Saturns that were ever created.
And I will add that Kia should no longer be a car company...

Hard to pick one.. Many crappy cars around.. I hate the Panda, the Neon (and most chryslers, just not worth it!) and lancer, as well as the carisma. But the grand prize goes to Subaru Justy/Suzuki Swift..! Worst cars on sale!

Just a note; why have you added the Saab 9-3 Cabrio? Yes, I am sort of a Saab fan, but still, I'm far from the only one that thinks this isn't one of the worst cars on sale! The chassis isn't much stiffer than a bowl of gellow, and you'll experience some real torque steering, but this car also has some positive sides, like good comfort, refinenement, good looks (at least I think so), and it's safe.. But don't worry, its replacement is due in September...

Once the new 9-3 covertible comes out with it's 300% stiffer chassis- I might consider getting one- but until then the current 9-3 is a good package put on a crappy chassis

Just found out that the Justy sold 6 cars last month (in norway).. How they've managed that is another question.. Not that 6 is so many anyways
