R34 GTR C-West Style

Hey guys I'm going to be buying the C-West kit from SAS soon. To put on my tamiya skyline R34 GTR Vspec 2. Awsome! And some GT wings!

I'm planning on painting the car with tamiya ligh-gunmetal. I will use the nismo 5 spoke wheels that came with the kit as optional extras. I will probably either paint them white or gold like C-Wests style(gold rims, gunmetal/silver car and carbonfibre bonnet). Which colour do think will look best??
Also do you think that I should paint the bonnet semi-gloss black to represent carbonfibre or should I leave it gunmetal?

Do you guys think overal this car will look great with my colour combination??

Just need some advice.

I'm not a fan of Gold wheels with Silver cars really. The colours tent to clash, and it makes the wheels look cheap and nasty in most cases. That said, this is your model, and it really boils down to what you like, and think would look best on the car .

if your gonna do the gold wheels then spray em with the alclad chrome paint, then airbrush a layer of tamiya clear yellow, gives a great anodized gold finnish,

and instead of painting bonnet black why not order some carbon decal from scale auto style when u get the kit, its great

hahah u just described my r34 v spec 2 hehehe i painted it gunmetal with a black bonnet and some gunmetal rims the 5 spoke one with a silver lip ill try to post some pics i was waitin for the c west kit to come out but i got impatient and built it hehehe
