driver side window control on 2002 bravada

ok my driver side window contol does not work, only the door lock and window lock buttons work. do I have to fork out 250 dollars for a whole new switch or is there something i can check 1st. I think my husband got it wet.

Make sure it is switch.

If the switch does not work I always test switch and wiring and power and ground to it and window module if it has for it.

If switch or module is found bad I check my pocket book.

And in your case check out husband and find out what and if he actually done to it.

Some online parts places give a discount and salvage yards have used parts at 1/2 price or less of new parts.

Looking at the wiring diagram there is 2 window modules and they are tie to body computer.

Always check fuse and circuit breakers first thing.

What part of switch does not work?
Is window up or down or half way up/down?
Does switches on other doors work window?
HAVE YOU CHECKED THE SWITCH FOR SWITCHING THE DRIVERS WINDOW MOTOR UP OR DOWN?
Have you checked drivers side window motor for being bad?
