Stuck hub bearing

Can anyone give me some ideas on how to free up a hub bearing that is stuck? I have a 99 Buick LeSabre.

Don't understand the question.

You're trying to remove it, and it won't come off? You trying to drive it, and the wheel doesn't turn, what?

If you're trying to remove it and you've taken the four mounting bolts off and it seems stuck at the top, there's two little posts that come in from behind that locate the mount plate for the ABS sensor, they get all cheezed up on the outside and won't pull through, so the bearing doesn't wanna come off....juts spray 'em with penetrating lube and tap them gently while pulling the bearing towards you...

I should clarify myself. The bearing is stuck on the drive shaft. I got it out of the steering knuckle. Would a big "F"ing hammer work?

In their loaner tools,
Autozone has a axle flange puller or some name like that; #27037. Three lug bolts on the bearing go through the holes and put the lug nuts on top and then a prong in the middle that you screw in and it pushes against the axle shaft while the others are pulling. That unsticks it.

Yes, if you use PBblaster on the splines, prior to the hammer job. Be sure to put the nut back on the shaft before using the hammer. Always use a new nut when replacing hub bearings.

I spray the splines, put a block of wood against the stub and hit it with a hammer. Once it starts to push in, keep tapping gently on the stub while pulling the bearing forward...being careful not to stretch the inner joint on the shaft too much, or the tripot will fall apart...that's always fun to try to get those balls to go back in place.

The main thing is don't bang up the threads on the end of the shaft stub, or you've got problems. A plastic hammer is handy, but most people don't have one...
