Power window switches blown
I have a 1987 Delta 88, and when trying to use the power windows (from the driver's panel), there was a "pop" within the switch, and now the down button doesn't make the clicking sound when it is pushed, but the up button still goes click. This has happened to all four switches on the driver's panel. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Do the windows still work?

Re: Power window switches blown
No, none of the windows work at all. Had to take the door panel off, and take out a few bolts to get the window to go down. Has been extremely hot, so I had to figure something out. Just starting Auto Tech. classes in 2 1/2 weeks, so as of right now, I barely know anything about this issue.

AND, the windows do not work when the switches are used on the individual doors either.

Re: Power window switches blown
You need to check circut breaker #23 in the fuse block (30 amp) if its ok and has power to it, check for power at pink wire of master switch (key on), check the black wire at the switch (ground ckt) and make sure its ok. If power and ground circuts are ok, replace the switch. The master switch provides the ground for all the windows.
