Played with a Sunfire Convertible

so i pull up to my usual racing light....i only say this because it seems any race i have ( usually in the Bonneville, the Cav isn't really a fast car) originates from this light. this light is on an incline by the way..not a steep one though. anyways, i pull up beside a guy around my age (18) in a sunfire convertible, i'm in my cav 2.2L auto. anyways, i do the little drive forward thing, i look over, he doesn't acknowledge, so i'm like whatever, i have to get off in like 1.5 km's anyways. i just start going after the light changes green, a little bit faster then i normally take off. and by the time i'm at about 50km/h, i see him coming up really fast behind me, i floored it also, and kicked in about right when he was beside me. we were dead even up to like 78km/h or so, and the next light was red, plus it was a 50 zone, so we slowed down. now i thought forsure he'd go at the next light. but he showed no signs of wanting to go, and sure enough he didn't, which i found weird considering i could see him manouvering his way through traffic to get beside me again. then he tried to do the fly by thing again, i floored it, but didn't go very long because my turn was coming up in like 300m, but i still squealed it around the corner into my turn.

not an exciting racing story, but something to pass the time.
