Replacing spokes on a modelbike

Hello guys,

I want to start with a 1/6 BMW R75/5 by Tamiya, but I want to replace the spokes because they are a bit too thick. Problem is how do I do it?

I searched Google for how to's but no luck yet. Is there anyone that can help me with a how to? And maybe someone also knows the size of wire I need to use?

Thanks already,

Kris.
