Coolant leak through exhaust

Hi all, new to the forum and have a question. I've done a search and can't seem to find my exact issue....here goes.

My son continued to drive his 2001 Blazer after it began overheating and loosing coolant. It finally stalled and would not start, luckily he was in our driveway when this happened. The water pump was leaking through the weep holes so I figured that was the issue and replaced that. Once that was done the truck would barely turn over and appeared to not have a spark and would not start. After several failed attempts to start the vehicle I noticed coolant coming from the exhaust at about the area of the catalytic converter.
I've checked the oil and there is zero water in it, and still looks fairly fresh but a bit dark. When I began to pull the intake manifold there appeared to be some moisture in the throttle body. Once out the back and passenger side of the manifold was wet, but there was no pooling in the valley, and no sludge that I could find. There also appeared to be some moisture in the intake ports as well as the area around the injectors on the passenger side. Still no sludge.
So I guess my question is this...does it sound like it's the intake manifold, or does it sound like a head gasket? I've never experienced water through the exhaust without having the oil compromised so I'm stumped. Any help is appreciated!!

IN MY OPION & what i'd do is pull & send the heads to be checked!!
i say this because it may have been the water pump but if he drove
the truck until it died & would'nt restart he probably did some real damage ei valves,guides,worped the heads or worse.pull the plugs
do a compression test.if this is a high mileage engine it may not be
worth it,but if your doing the labor you may want to fix it.just do some checks so you no what its probably goning to need

Update** Got the heads off and the driver's side was fine. Right side has a nice crack in it that allowed coolant to leak into the number 5 and 6 cylinder. Should have a rebuilt head in a few days. Thanks !

i'd rec sendind the other head out

I second doing both heads or you maybe doing it again soon. Replace the one & have the other head machined & valves done etc.
