1/12 Tyrrell P34 Monaco 77

I started with the roll bar to have to get the right shape, I extrapolated the 1/20er in part to 1 / 12 and I made a template that I have fixed on a cork plate.
With pins I was able to force the "Cold formed a roll bar to the desired shape.

As you can see the clip can be removed without problem ...

We continue with the oil reservoir, this had to be rebuilt since the 76th tank not under the narrow roll cage the '77 version takes place.
Again, I have extrapolated the 1/20er tank to 1 / 12 and transferred to a 0.5 mm thick plastic plate, cut out and glued together.

Lucky, it fits ... ... ...

Re: 1/12 Tyrrell P34 Monaco 77

In the area of the front suspension, I mounted an extra plate on the Blue chassis top.
The cover of the original missing rivets have also been replaced by Resin rivets the accessory trade. Insgesamt sind es 132 Stück. In total there are 132 pieces.

By installation the plate was the front now too deep by 0.5 mm
The fixation was increased by 0.5 mm

On the covering were still additional 5 rivets used to mimic the bracket for the screen, this wind shield was only Ronnie's cockpit design.
And to be adjusted in that the 0.5 mm plate was affixed the fairing had to the new circumstances.

Currently, state

Re: 1/12 Tyrrell P34 Monaco 77

So folks,
this section with the small alterations to the Monaco '77 model are finished, from now on I have no longer even make parts * gg *.

Between the rear wing mounts there is an oil reservoir, the 77 containers is substantially different from the 76er version.
According to my research, I came to this result:

The rear wing mounts were a little Modified:
Modified left and right the original from the kit

And here the parts mounted Provisionally, some details are missing ... ... ..

Instantaneous overall impression:

the front brake ducts got a grid used

The exhaust pipe ends are bent outward at the 77 version

One Final Pass sample of the parts before painting

And here, in addition to the P76 prototype version

The front stabilizer was his connection to the chassis.

The rear wing holders are already finished and painted the brake lines have also been fixed.

Seat, fairing and front wings are painted already clear.

And the rear tires were labeled using a template.

Re: 1/12 Tyrrell P34 Monaco 77

My 1/12 Tyrrell P34 Monaco GP 1977 is finished.
In this rebuild is not a Transkit, but it was many additional parts from different manufacturers used.
But much was also made itself such as the struts on the front of the "nose" and the air contour sheet over it.
The rest is substantially known in the building report.

Fairing bolted like the original ...

Front tire label with 1 / 20 Rear template and sprayed each wheel became a valve ...
