bolts in inch or in mm?
I was doing some DIY repairing some day ago. The sockets have different size in both inch and mm units. Most of my work use 13/32 '' . However, 11mm socket fits too.
So I am wondering which one is the right one for the bolts. It is a US honda accord ex 98 sedan. Is there a way to identify the right units from the bolts ? Thanks, harry. |

Re: bolts in inch or in mm?
All bolts and fasteners on your Honda will be metric . The head of the bolt will have some sort of ID marking on it .I'm no expert in that department but you should do a Google search for " metric fastener's identification " and info should be available . One such website is http://euler9.tripod.com/bolt-database/22.html but there are many more to view - Good luck !

Re: bolts in inch or in mm?
Thanks a lot. That explains that why I screwed a socket in inch unit. They actually don't match !!
