Will 1.5 ton floor jack lift one tire on a suburban? Thanks Dave

Re: Roll around jack?
YES. 1.5 ton=3,000 lbs. One corner of a heavy Sub = maybe 1,000 lbs.

Re: Roll around jack?
the suburban in the front is heavy.. my opinion 1.5 ton is too small..also depends on who makes the jack...
I have 10 ton jacks..I don't worry what it is lifting ..then using blocks to support the frame... most appear to use 2 ton or higher to lift these vehicles..some 2 ton jacks can't do it ! so it seems it depends on who made it. |
