i have a 2008 Equinox and was wondering what are the speaker size in the front door and the back doors.

I would be shocked if you found any relevant specifications for the OEM speakers. Why would you need a VIN? The speakers in question the same on all 2002-2007 Saturn Vue, 2005-2009 Chevy Equinox and 2006-2009 Pontiac Torrent.

The woofers are the same size in all the doors. The largest aftermarket speakers that will fit without any modifications would be 6.5" or 6.75" diameter. You will need adapters to mount them like these Scosche SAGMEQ656 adapters.
