1978 chev stepside P/U

guess what came in the mail the other day!

yep a 78 chev pickup now i thought it was an old monogram original but started looking and never saw one with the markings this one has! (explain later)

started breaking it down for a rebuild!

heres the body!

drivetrain and wheels and tires !

frame

and it says the following markings
fundlimnesions (there marked on there like its old 60's styling!) DIV (I suppose it means "division")
GMFG 197 7

that is whats imprinted on the frame! maybe someone here with alittle more knowledge can help me figure it out!

Its a 1978 MPC anual kit. One on ebay now for big bucks. Will you be using the stock ralley rims? If not I would like to buy them from you.

Re: 1978 chev stepside P/U

Update:

got one piece done for the tailgate....trying to make it more "Realistic" ...it may be a hair to big...but im sure some sanding should take care of it and now gotta do the other side. but i may just leave it and glue it back on and just restore it rather than add detail to an original kit?....

interior...still pondering about the steering wheel?
Also...looking for a replacement timing cover for the kit....its the same engine as the amt 72 nova kit!

Comments and Criticism welcomed!
