Windstar and used tires
I have been hunting down a cheap used tire for my 2000 Ford Windstar, since one of the fronts is pretty much done for. It currently has p215/70R15's installed. I read that Windstars used either 205/70r15's or the 215's, my question is this: Could I use a single 205 tire, with the 3 215's without the vehicle handling changing drastically?

you could use the 205 tire in the rear only!! due to the tire speed in the front being different, don't want to screw up the tranny, IT'S ALREADY SCREWED UP FROM FORD!!IN OTHER WORDS SAME SIZE TIRE UP FRONT AND YOU COULD PUT DIFFERENT SIZE TIRES IN THE REAR, SINCE IT IS FWD!

If wondering about what tire sizes are a direct fit for your vehicle, visit the tirerack website and enter your vehicle information.
They will then list the tire sizes that are a direct fit. It is best to use the same size tire all the way around if possible. It is VERY important to at least have the same size on the same axle, particularly in the front.
