That car was too rice, except for the fact that the car actually had some power.(It did a nice burnout)

The car was owned by a jerk named Craig Lieberman, who also owned the Supra in the movie.

A stock 4th gen only has 190 hp and runs quicker 0-60.

That time seems really slow for that year of a Max. I would think they would have at least get it to do 6.0 flat.

There's a whole thread on it on Maxima.org from a while back. He really screwed around with all the cars in the movie and overdid them. We all know guys like him. He just tunes the cars, and could give a shit less about being an enthusiast. He sold both cars after the movie, because he said he didn't want them. He's in it for the money.

Here it is. Obviously tuned by somebody who is not familiar with the Maxima community mods. No clear corners, what the hell kind of body kit is it , and no spoiler. Trying to find engine pics..........

Ok, here is some of the mods:

With a Dodge Viper GTS Metallic Blue paint job, Stillen full urethane body kit and custom reverse-mounted hood, the Maxima is a head-turner. But more than just a looker, the Maxima has performance upgrades that give it a top speed of 145 MPH. A Stillen/Vortech supercharger kit gives the car its kick and Stillen racing brakes slow it down. It also features a downpipe, custom exhaust and air intake by Stillen, as well as numerous other bells and whistles on the interior, including its Stitchcraft seats and trim.

All Stillen........talk about movie expenses.

yeah, i saw a making of 2f2f short film and i saw a couple of those skylines on the set. they were exact duplicates and triplicates of each other so be prepared to see that baby smashed to shit at one point in the movie. i wonder if they're all real skylines or are they just kit cars. i bet one of them's real.

anyone see that jackie chan movie "rumble in te bronx" or maybe it was "The Rock" where they run over the gold lamborghini with the street sweeper? i found out later it was a vw bug with a lambo shell
