lt1 into a 84 caprice wagon

hey it's been a long time since i've been here, everyone was such a great help last time with my 9c1 I thought i might get some input again.
here is what I'm trying to do put a lt1 in place of my tired 350[295,000 miles]. I have a complete car[minus the trans] to scavenge from, its a 96 caddy fleetwood with 70,000 miles,
my question is can I use a balancer from from an early small block in the lt1 to retain my current acessory drive. I realize that I will have to play with belts but this seems easier to me than notching the cross member for ac claerance. Thanks
